The lovely 3-star Avalon Hotel Bad Reichenhall is to be found approx. 500 m from the centre and approx. 14 km from the ski area of Berchtesgaden. The family-run hotel's facilities include a reception, lift, breakfast room, restaurant, bar with dance floor (live music twice a week), ski room and a spa area with swimming pool and sauna (incl.), as well as a solarium (payable locally). Parking spaces and a parking garage are also available (payable locally).
