Valfréjus is located at an altitude of 1,550 m in the Savoyard Alps, near the Italian border. The friendly village, away from mass tourism, can easily be explored and has its own special charm. The centre is built like a horseshoe around the broad end of the valley descent, so that most of the sun terraces of cosy bars and cafés can easily be reached on skis. Apart from that, some restaurants are waiting to spoil you with French, Italian and local specialities. In the resort centre you'll find a multi-purpose sports field, which, depending on the season, is used for skating, hockey, football and basketball.
