Ski Area La Norma
Guests in La Norma are offered pure snow enjoyment: the ski area lures you to its incredibly beautiful slopes and wonderful panoramic views in the middle of the Savoyard Alps. At an altitude of 1,350 m to 2,750 m, skiers and snowboarders can use the 17 lifts to enjoy 65 km of pure piste fun. The longest run is 8 km long! Whether beginner or expert, everyone will find the right run, whereby the majority of slopes are more suitable for intermediates and beginners. For the season 2010/2011 the selection of blue and green pistes has been enlarged again. In addition to slalom slopes, floodlit pistes and the snowpark, holiday makers can also take advantage of forest runs. With over 100 snow cannons, fun is guaranteed on the slopes!
A day trip to the ski areas of Valfréjus (65 km piste) and Aussois (55 km piste) is definitely worth while. Orelle, 15 km from La Norma, offers a great entry to the Les 3 Vallées ski region. A ski bus runs to Orelle once a week (payable locally). Don't miss out on a trip to the world's largest ski region!
